Corporate Information Technology Officer

Delivered an I.T. solution accomplishing the company’s mission-critical objectives. This is achieved by developing and implementing an ERP remittance application which interfaces with numerous international banks’ multimillion dollar money transfer systems. Such is followed by programming other modules which include prevention of transactions associated with terrorism or money laundering (with risk management analysis), automated reconciliation of various bank statements, and interface (API/WSDL/REST) of proprietary money transfer system such as SWIFT, Moneygram and EzRemit. Other notable developments include Accounts, HR, Business Intelligence, and Logistics automating several redundant and laborious tasks. Information Technology Project Leader (January 2003 - 2004)

Contributed significantly to planning, analysis, design, and development of a financial in-house solution which integrated collections, payables, purchasing, inventory, assets management, and supplies management and payroll system that had saved the company PhP 20M annually from service maintenance of a legacy solution.

Made application proposals, participated in project planning with Finance, Materials, Billing and HR departments, and provided resource estimates.

Created UML design documents using Powerdesigner CASE tool and MS Visio and wrote high-level and/or detailed specifications for others to translate into Powerbuilder programs.
