To the Director of recruiting,
I have been working in the field of Medical Laboratory Science for a number of years and even after all this time I am still as excited about it as the day I started. The challenge of constantly learning new methods and training on new instrumentation is something I will always look forward to. I challenged the AMT certification test after many years in the field, even though it was not required for me, because I wanted to be confident in my skills and in my knowledge base.
I have worked in every area of the Laboratory with the majority of my experience having been gained in the Chemistry and Hematology labs. I have operated and maintained Instrumentation from just about every major manufacturer of laboratory equipment.
My greatest joy is working with others to provided accurate and timely patient specimen testing that results in the best outcomes for our patients. Also, during my career, I excelled at being a team leader and a problem solver in situations where quick decisions needed to be made affecting urgent patient care
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my most recent situation so as to provide an overview of the circumstances that were most prevalent at that time.
I look forward to working many more years at a high level and being a valued member of your Laboratory team.
