Project: Migration from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016/Office 365 Hybrid.

Messaging Engineer role for State of Ohio’s Department of Administrative Services & all state government agencies

Provided messaging support for all 65 state agencies in a 65,000-user Office 365 mailbox environment

Created multiple PowerShell scripts to assist with various migration projects & troubleshooting and analysis.

Cloning of Domain Controllers in Windows Server 2016

Ran updates on the source and destination servers and ensures Windows Server patches, Exchange service packs, cumulative updates were current.

Once Exchange 2016 is installed, activated the server from Exchange Admin Center (EAC) to add the hybrid license key to servers.

Added the Exchange 2016 servers to the production environment & configuring the entire mailbox server role.

Synchronized the Exchange 2016 servers with the new Office 365 environment.

Used AD Connect tool to configure custom installation to test and ensure Multi-Factor Authorization to the current Active Directory domain.

Troubleshooting of issues with database copies and lag in replication; backups of Active Directory and use of Active Directory to prepare user data for migration.

Readied current Exchange 2010 email environment for migration to Exchange 2016 on premises with updates and patches.
