Programmer/Systems Analyst

Worked on process to migrate mainframe system to run on distributed servers. This required code conversion from COBOL and JCL to JAVA and JavaScript.

Reduced operation cost of the Legal Department computer system by migrating the system from a vendor based data center to the TD data center system.

Created and implemented an Access Database for the Legal Department to maintain existing data and load new data for unsupported functions that the internal system did not support.

Reduced processing time and cost of the small Toronto Dominion mailings by providing an automatic print process at the TD Auto Finance print room.

Principal assignments included the maintenance and support of the mainframe Lemans Leasing System. Support of the Lemans system required knowledge of COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and Procedures, SDSF, Syncsort, SPUFI, FIleAid, Expediter, CA7 and CA11, SQL, CICS, IMS, JES, ISPF, TSO, REXX and Endevor.

Supported the analysis, coding and testing of new and existing system software.

Reduced nightly batch processing time by four hours in preparation for the merger of the Chrysler Financial system and the Mercedes Benz system.

Managed the integration of the Mercedes Benz Lease information into the Chrysler Financial Lemans Leasing System after company merger.

Supported the division of the Mercedes Benz Lemans Lease data and Chrysler Financial Lemans Lease data into separate systems after the two companies split.

Reestablished the Insurance System timeline after taking the lead for the Insurance system during the project to migrate the Chrysler Financial System from the Chrysler Data Center to the FIS Data Center.
