Managed technology, software and hardware integration and operation of the online environment. Managed financial budgets (Opex, Capex), support and vendors. ZetaPoint (http://zetapoint.com) is in the field of optimizing database storage and access time (Big data and Data analytics). It automatically identifies a business’s most active and valuable data, enabling cost-efficient data management and storage. I have cracked/deciphered and reverse-engineered the Oracle underlying protocols, intercepting the calls to oracle server. I have developed, designed and written our own server and tools for collecting all the communication information intercepted between the different clients and the oracle server. The product was developed on different flavours Unix/Linux and Windows

It was developed using Java, C#, structured C and C++ using OOP/OOD/OOA methodologies.

2004 Senior Software Engineer at Comverse, Ramat-Hachyal Israel.

Comverse (www.comverse.com) is a company that develops various solutions to Telephone operators of landline and mobile networks. The leading products are voice mail messages systems and SMSC servers and other products for SMS and mobile device. I was part of a team at the SMS division which was responsible for the SMS-SHIELD product. The SMS-SHIELD is a service (part of SOA design) that can act as anti-spam, anti-spoof, anti-virus and so on over SMS messages. The product was developed on various Unix systems, Linux and partially on windows.

It is developed in C++ using OOP/OOD/OOA methodologies.

2001 - 2003 Team leader/Software engineer at Followap R&D, Haifa Israel.

Followap (www.followap.com) is a company that specializes in the field of Mobile Internet Services. The company developed solutions for end-to-end Instant messaging services from/to PC, Web, mobile-phones and PDAs.

As a member of the R&D my responsibility was the development on the server side. The server topology is distributed and multithreaded.

I wrote an interpreter/compiler enabling parsing and extracting dynamic data, implementing ASP/JSP like functionalities using C++ mapping, and on the client side building the GUI using the power of this compiler.

Part of a team developing MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) Server/Client and integrating with 3rd party vendor machines and API.

I wrote a billing server system for prepaid/postpaid customers, which interacts with Opco’s pricing systems on one side and on the other within Followap product.

I built an infrastructure for simultaneous multilingual support throughout our variety of clients.

I functioned as a team leader for the server team, CC (Configuration Control), including the incorporation of new developers into the server side.

The development was done in C++ for UNIX environment using Oracle DB.

2001 Software engineer at PassCall Advanced Technologies, Haifa Israel.

PassCall (www.PassCall.com) is a company that specializes in the field of mobile Internet services. The company developed solutions for browsing the Internet from cellular devices such as Mobile phones and PDAs, using algorithms for changing and optimizing content from the internet on the fly.

As a member of the R&D my responsibility was the development of a semi-automatic tool for mapping Internet sites. The tool creates patterns to define and filter, in real time, the content of an Internet site’s (source pages) HTML & XML page, so the content would fit browsing through cellular devices.

The development was done in C++ using MFC.

The company was closed due to market recession.

2000-2001 Software engineer at Aladdin, Haifa Israel.

Aladdin (www.Aladdin.com) is a company that specializes in the field of securing digital content from software to Internet, networks and PC’s use and access.

I was a member of the eSafe Gateway team. This group develops the Proactive Internet Content Security

product. I participated in the development of the eSafe Gateway and SMTP Relay products.

The SMTP Relay is a mediator server, which is used for controlling and filtering e-mail content in and out of

the organization in accordance with predefined policy rules the organization sets.

My responsibilities were designing add-on features for improving performance and resource usage, adding

interfaces and implementation for interacting with other products and modules, as well as maintenance of the

product itself.

The development was in C++ (OOD/OOP), Multithreading/Multiprocessing & Synchronization, use of

TCP/IP and SMTP communication protocols and use of WinAPI’s.

Another module that is used by the Gateway product (eSafe Manage & MSP–Management Service provider)

is for managing the Gateway product from a local machine from within the organization network and from

outside the network of the organization. This module supports multiple accesses on one side and multiple

products on the other thus allowing a service company to control and manage several companies network from a remote location.

My responsibility was to design and implement the module, data structures, algorithms and interfaces for other modules.

The development was in C++ (OOD/OOP), Multithreading/Multiprocessing & Synchronization, use of

TCP/IP communication protocols and use of WinAPI’s.
