Full Firmware development for multiple microcontrollers/FPGA. Engineer developed communication hardware and firmware for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), I2C communication (slave implementation), SPI and USB stack implementation. Design development included design for manufacturing (DFM). Design was in conformance with ISO9000.

Design Engineer, FACTS ENGINEERING, LLC – New Port Richey, Florida, USA

From April 2001 to February 2014

Finished more than 60 designs for both hardware and firmware. Designed PLC or PAC I/O analog modules, signal conditioners, and power supplies (10W – 200W, AC-DC and DC-DC). Analog I/O modules include high speed 16bit and 12bit input, output, and combinational modules with multiple different ranges per channel. Improved the accuracy of the ADC and DAC circuitry through the usage of the Oversampling, Linear, and PWL approximation. The modules are developed to be temperature stable and be immune to the noise susceptibility. These modules are multiple channel thermocouple and RTD modules. The modules use high precise delta sigma converters, CJC (THM-only) circuitry, sensor excitation current sources (RTD-only) and software linearization.

Designs passed all necessary UL and CE tests. Developed User Interface Module (Patent US10082782B2) which combines display, keypad, and buzzer, and it is in production. Researched and developed High Speed USB Interface which was used on FR4 boards. USB 2.0 as backplane interface. Power circuit simulation using INTUSOFT ICAP/4. CAD Tool PADS LOGIC.
