As Network Administrator and System Administrator my daily responsibilities include maintaining, upgrading and managing all server hardware and monitoring network traffic for outages or external attacks. With several point to point VPN tunneling across a WAN to four of our data centers located in DTLA, Las Vegas, and AZ. As an Admin for an ISP I manage all DNS servers for the ISP ensure there are no interruptions and make sure daily backups are functioning correctly and failover is functional. Other responsibility and completed projects include the following.

Creating full Network map of all hardware connected to our LAN.

Managing Ubiquity network switches, upgrading firmware troubleshooting via command for errors when they occur in Putty.

Creating and managing VLAN in Mikrotik routers, implementing QoS for VOIP service.

Creating a full network map of all sites in LAN and over WAN, updated as needed.

Network monitoring server for all LAN switches, connections and physical server

Audit all systems hardware and OS upgrade Win 7 to Win 10.

Upgraded primary Exchange 2016 to 2019, migrated data base to 2019 while keeping 2016 as an archive server for terminated or unused mailboxes that management does not want to delete.

Managing Barracuda Email filter, creating domain whitelist or blocking out entire IP range from trouble countries ex. West Africa, China, etc.

Upgraded ISP DNS servers from 2012 to 2019 setup failover across WAN and ensure servers are being backup with Arcserve UDP.

Implemented 2FA with DUO for all public facing servers, VLA access and RDP accessible machines.

Maintaining, managing, and ensuring all high priority servers are being backup with Arcserve UDP.

Ensuring primary Arcserve data store is being backup via FTP for offsite access and availability.

Testing monthly full, daily incremental, and weekly backups.

Migrated old physical Domain Windows Server to Virtual Machines Windows Hyper-V, from Arcserve restore. Old domain is use for CRM MS Dynamics, application and SQL data base archive.

Track all changes to all servers before and after with CRM MS Dynamics.
