Pipeline Inspection Gadget (P.I.G)-Senior Design Project, Lubbock, Texas Department of Mechanical Engineering May 2019 - Present o Developed a P.I.G to clean dry pipes from a diameter of 8-10 inches, which in turn removes the need for a single diameter cleaning P.I.G.
o Led the operations of AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor in the team, created 2/3D proto-types of a cleaning P.I.G. o Integrated cost and schedule data to help group effectively manage the project and stay in budget. Undergraduate Research, Lubbock, Texas
Department of Mechanical Engineering June 2019 – August 2019 o Evaluated and tested servomotors to improve productivity of propeller blades by vortex shedding. o Designed CAD models of propeller bases, airfoils, and connectors using AutoDesk Inventor. o Analyzed and gathered information regarding the fluid mechanics of propeller blades in wind tunnels. INVOLVEMENT
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
Member September 2017 - Present
o Learned from and attended meetings to stay up to date with professional developments, codes and standards. o Developed a personal identity from information sessions, which offered growth and learning activities. NASA RASC-AL
Member September 2017 – January 2018
o Presented various number of themes for a Storage/Transfer System for In Situ Supply (STASIS) designed to support cryogenic refueling for Deep Space Transport (DST). o Planned a design of the propellant device between the Earth and Moon (L1) to provide a long term solution for DST and other commercial space exploration.
o Maintained a realistic assessment of costs for technology maturation, system development, production and operation.
