HAZOP

Node Marking in PFDs and P&IDs

Preparation of blank HAZOP Worksheets (PHA Pro 6.0v) M. Tech Project:

Removal of hexavalent chromite from mine wastewater by using green coconut shell. In nature chromium is found in different oxidation states ranging from minus two to plus six. But only two forms are very much abundant and stable. Hexavalent chromium exerts severe adverse effects on living organisms including human beings. In this project I tried to reduce, reusing, recovering and recycling of mine waste water by using green coconut shell. Batch experiments were conducted in optimum conditions for hexavalent chromium (VI). The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be greater than 90% for 10mg/l solution for green coconut shell based adsorbent.

B. Tech Project:

Preparation and characterization of Molybdenum inpregnationated H-ZSM-5. In this project I prepared metal impregnated zeolite and analysed its characterization and the applications of Metal impregnated zeolites as industrial catalysis and the recognition of the “shape selective” properties of these materials has stimulated an immense amount of synthetic work aimed at preparing new micro porous materials with vastly different pore sizes and void structures that are capable of catalysing new processes.
