**********@*****.***

Hello,

For the last 5 years I have worked in the mental health arena, and I am currently in the process of getting my PMHNP certification, after having gone back to school in 2017 to get my Post Masters certificate in psychiatry/mental health. I am also a board-certified adult-gerontological primary care nurse practitioner, and worked in primary care before entering the mental health arena. I am eager to work collaboratively with other providers, and to establish and maintain regular communication with my supervising physician, to consult as needed.

My most recent work was as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in a private, outpatient office, performing primarily medication management, with some brief and supportive therapy. My previous position was also in mental health, and included working with substance abuse, and I am registered to prescribe buprenorphine for opiate abuse. In that position, I worked closely with the therapists who provided treatment for the patients receiving buprenorphine, and we maintained a good level of collaborative care. In an effort to maintain good continuity of care for patients, I regularly consulted and collaborated with other healthcare providers whom the patient saw, as well as friends and family members of the patient.

I have also owned and operated two businesses in the past, during which I developed strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, fiscal, and customer service skills. My work experience is broad and has provided opportunities to gain important skills in the treatment of psychiatric/mental health patients. I hope my qualities interest you and I would love to schedule an interview with you so we can further discuss this job opportunity. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Matt Feinberg MSN, AGNP-BC, PMHNP-BC pending.
