Channel Estimation in OFDM System: A channel was designed, simulated and LS, MMSE channel estimations were used for testing of the channel with help of BER in an OFDM system. A 5-tap fading channel was designed during the designing of the OFDM system. Pilot symbols were used, and project is coded in MATLAB. Fire Fighter Robot: Built a robot with heat sensor which could be controlled using a self-developed android app coded in Python. This is used for extinguishing fire while monitoring through a webcam attached to its head. The networking standard ZigBee was used for wireless communication between the bot and the devices. Smart Gardening: The main motto of this project is to help farmers water their crop while even being away from home. Used soil moisture sensors to read the soil moisture content. These values are sent to Spark Core a development platform that helps in updating the data to cloud. The values can be downloaded and accessed on mobile from the cloud and necessary action can be taken. Used MATLAB for coding. Built this project for the garden of our University which is still under usage in real time.
