Summary of qualification

Painting/Blasting: Blast and paint on offshore drilling/production platforms in a fabrication yard and off shore; tank and pipelines in refineries and tank farms. Rigging blast hoses, sand pots, paint pot, airless pumps, and plural component spray systems. Basic application of tank lining, pipe coating, and fiberglass works, fireproofing. Basic blast operations: 3 bag / 6 and 8 ton pots, Turbo blaster external blasting; internal blasters with spin blasters, blast track experience and centrifugal blast operations. Foreman responsibility includes: Taking WFT and DFT readings; ambient conditions, Steel Profile readings, QC reports, running crews, following manufacturer and job coating specifications. Inspection experience: Participating in prejob conference, identifying possible problems during prejob walk, job costing (daily and weekly tally sheets, budget analysis/management), job scheduling/coordinating with contractor and client, maintaining accurate environmental reading, QC reports, and job compliance with all State, DOT, and OSHA regulations.

Equipment: Abrasive blast pots: 1bagger- 21 ton blast pots, Turbo blast equip., centrifugal blast equip., internal blast/paint equipment, conventional spray, airless/air assisted airless equip., plural component spray equip., low/high voltage holiday detection, basic inspection equip, and adhesion test equipment..

Knowledge in application and use of: Carboline Paint products, International Paint products, Hempel paint products, Sherwin-Williams paint products, and Teslan Nanotube Coatings. Have worked with and been trained on the latest fire proofing (PFP) products in both intumescent (Firetex M-90&Char-tek products) or cementitious (PFP) in Flint Hills refinery. Training done at Brand/Safeway shop in Corpus Christi Texas by coating companies. Also have been trained for proper insulation of the Pyrogel insulation and Ulva Cladding (gluing and caulking requirements) by Factory Rep from England. (Danny Mahoney)
