Participated in the project review process from design through to test approach/plan review
Used the requirements set up in Team Foundation Server (Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria) to create the High-Level Test Plan/Approach using risk-based analysis scope, and environments affected to determine level and amount of testing required.
Started creating test scenarios that would be placed in the TFS Test Manager, after the high-level test plan/approach was created.

Started Testing as the User Stories moved within the Kanban board (Deployed to Test 1, Test 2, etc.)

Started with Exploratory, then Functional, then Integrational testing to ensure the entire system/process still functioned with the new or updated enhancement features. Also performed Regression testing to ensure no surrounding systems were broken with the enhancement features.
Immediately reported any defects found during any segment of testing to the project team (Product manager, Developer/Engineer, QA, and Business Stakeholder) via the TFS Test Manager. Developers communicated the fixes through TFS Test Manager and then were retested to validate the fixes.
As a Strategic Lead…tracked the Flight Plan of upcoming enhancement projects and assignment of projects to QA team by their specific bandwidth. Also notified project managers of available QA resources for each specific project
Tracked and reported on the status of current and upcoming releases on a monthly basis to upper level management (number of projects, what systems were affected, # of user stories, etc.)
Tracked and reported on Defect Leakage – regarding missed requirements, missed functional or regression testing by QA to management on a weekly basis
