JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – ADMINISTRATION:

+Overall supervision of the Administrative activities of the company including I.S.O procedure.

Liaising with various Government departments /Authorities like Dubai Municipality, Pollution Control Dept., Hazardous waste disposal dept. DEWA, Labour Department, Civil Engg. Dept. JAFZA EHS Dept. Free Zone authorities, Ports & Customs, Health

& Safety, Chamber of Commerce, etc.

Responsible for Renewal of Factory License, Operation Fitness Certificate From EHS Dept. and JAFZA.

Maintaining and updating all employee personnel files leave and attendance records thereby providing inputs for monthly payroll . Administering all employee related insurance, employment visas, arranging staff accommodation, office infrastructure etc. Recruitments of staff and workers and necessary induction, training, etc. Supervise/Co-ordinate with the Travel agent to arrange all travel related activities to the employees for official as well as personal visits including hotel accommodation Security Arrangement for the factory, Waste & Scrap disposal, Pest Control Management, Housekeeping, Gardening of facility,Vehicle Maintenance,etc. Overall safety of the organization thereby heading the safety panel. Responsible for the procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity strategies and plans and management of supplier relationship . Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions. Maintain procurement files, Track purchasing activity .Liaise with Accounts Payable department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - LOGISTICS /SUPPLY CHAIN:

Total in-charge of the Logistic Dept. /Formalities for both Imports and Exports. Ensures compliance with international and U.S. laws related to import / export activity including Third party movements. Have full knowledge of ‘INCOTERMS’ Nominating freight forwarders for imports & exports from and to various parts of the world for both air and sea. To ensure Inbound and out bound deliveries across all routes are managed and controlled. Ensure tracking systems are maintained and accurate.

Negotiation with freight forwarders, clearing agent and shipping lines to obtain the most competitive rates for both air and sea Liaising with Purchase, Planning and Warehouse department for deliveries, container schedule, etc. as per forecast agreed with customer. Supervision of all Import and Export documentation including Chamber of Commerce.

2. Worked for 6 years in a Mumbai based Engineering company involved in manufacturing of Materials Handling Equipments as a Office cum Sales Administrative Officer.
