My responsibilities at James Island Physical Therapy include scheduling patient appointments, filing patient charts and notes, putting together “Thank You” letters to referring physicians, and talking to insurance companies.
SHADOWING BON SECOURS ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL

During my shadowing experience at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, I was able to shadow the occupational therapists in the hand therapy department. I was able to observe splint making, treatments for stroke patients, and acute care.

COMMUNICATION
Being a receptionist means I am talking to people all the time. Customer service has become a top priority of mine. I always strive to connect with the customers, and give them the best experience possible.
LEADERSHIP
Some of my leadership positions in college include, Chief Panhellenic Officer and New Member Counselor. My responsibilities as Chief Panhellenic Officer include being in charge of a budget and being the head chairwoman for two committees. I was also in charge of a large fundraising event that contributed to the Lowcountry Food Bank.
