Human Resources Representative (Temp), Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY

In this position I worked directly under the Director of Human Resources and closely with the HR Business Partners. I was responsible for tracking employee attendance, issuing disciplinary actions when the policy was violated, documenting the drafted and finalized forms, while being in regular contact with the department leaders. Many times I was told by various leaders that I was a huge asset to the team for my efficiency and willingness to work outside of my initial role. Once reaching real-time attendance tracking, I took on another project to audit each and every employee file for the Medical Center; this included tracking file content as well as creating a format to digitalize the information for remote access. Skills I gained through this opportunity include: implementing policies, increased knowledge of HR protocol/processes, leadership, communication, multitasking, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.
