Dynamic, experienced, highly talented and well qualified Professional Seaman with a proven track record and 5 years sea-going experience working marine/offshore worldwide. I began my sea-going career working as a Deck Cadet, progressing to Able Seaman and then 2nd Officer (my current rank). During that time, I have proved my ability to work well in challenging situations, whilst ensuring safety is at the forefront of everything I do. Multi-skilled with a high standard of physical fitness, I have good hands on knowledge and experience in Navigation, including the correction of all Navigation Equipment and Cargo Handling different types of cargo. I am also responsible for the handling of the Safety and Fire/Fighting Equipment, ensuring high standards of safety are maintained at all times. An honest, hardworking Russian family man, I am married with two kids. I take a pride in my work and my family are my motivation and inspiration to give my best and succeed in every role I undertake. I have worked in many different areas of business in the past, including a children’s education institution. I have also served in the Russian Federation Navy in the rank of Lieutenant. Naturally self-motivated and pro-active with lots of energy and enthusiasm, I am currently seeking a new challenging role working as 2nd Officer in the marine/offshore. Honest and hardworking with a good sense of responsibility, I enjoy having new experiences and advancing my skills and knowledge. I recently gained my “Officer in Charge of the Navigational Watch" Certificate, which was quite an achievement for me. I am a firm believer that nothing is out of reach and anything is achievable through a combination of hard work and determination. Ambitious, eager to succeed and a fast learner, I would relish a new sea-going role where I have the chance to realise my full potential, grow as a professional and climb the career ladder. Just looking for someone to give me a chance to prove myself.
A confident team player with supervisory experience, I have the ability to motivate others and achieve targets. I am also able to work on my own initiative with minimum of supervision, multi-tasking, problem solving and making decisions. Having worked with multi-national crews, I am used to working with many different nationalities of people. Outgoing, friendly and confident, I take pride in building good relationships with others and have the communication skills required to liaise effectively at all levels. Conscientious and driven with a “hands on” approach, I enjoy being at the centre of things and am not afraid of hard work or getting my hands dirty. Punctual and reliable, I believe if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well, always giving my employer 100% commitment and effort at all times.
Adaptable, flexible and open minded with good technical problem solving skills, I thrive in a demanding environment. I am able to deal with difficult challenges quickly, calmly and decisively, remaining focused on a safe and efficient outcome. Being at sea, I am aware of all the dangers present and very health and safety conscious. I enjoy a challenge and seeing a job through from the beginning to its successful completion.
