Principal Consultant working to bridge the gap between the public, non-profit and educational sectors and the private sector by providing advocacy, knowledge, insight, connections, and extensive program and project management experience to influence actions, improve processes, create efficiencies, design programs, and improve communication resulting in effective decision making, quicker timelines and increased cost savings and revenue for clients.
Significant Accomplishments
Led master planning efforts for the Miami Conservancy District by developing facility standards throughout the region which resulted in system-wide continuity and easier decision making for capital improvement spending.
Spearheaded business development efforts for a private-sector firm who is expanding into southwest Ohio and interested in doing business with the municipal sector. My advocacy resulted in increased awareness of service product and has generated nearly fifty qualified leads which I am actively converting into sales.
City of Fairborn, Fairborn, OH 2002 to 2019
Assistant City Manager
Served as Chief Operating Officer for City with multiple Departments and Divisions. Responsibilities include setting goals, monitoring project progress, performing personnel evaluation, monitoring budget and stakeholder engagement. Oversight of an $18M operational budget and a $78M capital improvement budget with direction of 250 employees.
Led strategic communications with all levels of management, board and constituents.
Planned, programmed and implemented facility maintenance, enhancements and renovations at over twenty locations ensuring longevity of capital assets.
Significant Accomplishments
Led economic development efforts in the downtown commercial corridor in collaboration with the business sector resulting in $10 million dollars in revitalization efforts, blight remediation, new business start-ups, creative economic development incentives, and an increase of visitors by 109%.
Public Administrative Services Director
Oversight and responsibility for eight key departments, established goals, provided leadership, direction, guidance and evaluation to ensure efficient operations. Continually evaluated project performance to identify and implement strategies to reduce project costs.
Significant Accomplishments
Spearheaded over $150 million in infrastructure improvements leading to increased economic development opportunities in previously underserved areas of the City. Led organizational transformation in several Departments resulting in greater organization efficiency and improved service levels to constituents by 20%.
Park and Recreation Director
Hired to revitalize the program and division. Together, the team transformed an ailing park system into the regions premier outdoor recreational destination. Acquired funding, organized and motivated staff, developed plans and implemented strategies which produced overwhelmingly successful results for constituents.
Significant Accomplishments
Worked with elected body and state legislators to secure funding for the acquisition and development of a 200-acre park. Developed park in collaboration with Wright State University for educational endeavors and adjacent property owners for economic development initiatives.

Elected by the citizens of Beavercreek, Ohio to serve on the Beavercreek City Council. Beavercreek is the23rd largest city in Ohio serving nearly 50,000 residents.
Board Member, Owen’s Place Inclusive Park, Beavercreek, OH 2018 to present
Serve on a volunteer board to develop a completely, inclusive park geared for autistic children in Beavercreek Township. To date, the Board has raised over $1,500,000 and has approximately another $500,000 in fundraising goals to complete a multiple phase project.
