Monitor the Project cash-flow and prepare schedule forecasts / Payments (Invoicing) Forecasts / Cash Flow Analysis.

Prepare the project’s cost report (internal) to confirm the budget planning & analyzing the variance between Actual Cost and Budgeted cost and take preventive/corrective actions if necessary.

Prepare a monthly top management executive summary report/Dashboards integrating both cost and time (Earned Value Management) to summarize the overall performance of the company’s projects.

Apply Earned Value tools and techniques to identify project’s Estimate at completion.

Adding new variation/change orders to the project budget (if any).

Provide quarterly cost plan showing forecast/estimate to complete cost.

Monitor and track projects monthly manpower and equipment and compare it with monthly budget to ensure company resources utilization plan is applied.

Profile

With 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including 7 years working as a Cost Control Engineer at the international level, I have been involved in complex building and industrial construction projects with project budgets up to US$ 1.2 Billion. Projects Overview: Construction of the electrical substations and expanding MV,LV cables all over doha Responsibilities:

Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.

Generate monthly project costing reports for management review to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.

Coordinate and work with project management team to resolve project-related issues, ensuring a timely execution of the project within the planned budget.

Review commercial performance of contractors and vendors against budgets and forecast targets.

Responsibilities:

Attended project kick-off meetings in order to collect project cost estimation and resources data prior to mobilization.

Liaised with project engineers responsible for different trades (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) and obtained accurate actual cost on a daily basis.

Performed cost management activities including comparing forecasts and actual project cost to ensure compliance with project cost-related procedures.

Generated and submited regular project cost control reports to commercial managers and project managers showing analysis of cost data, estimated against actual project cost variance and forecasts, to ensure cost is monitored throughout the project.

Proposed project control plans to ensure the alignment with project planned budget and effective cost utilization.

Evaluated the suppliers and/or the subcontractors commercial offers and compared them with the project budget.

Followed up with subcontractors’ site engineers to ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications & meeting schedule planned dates.

Reported progress on daily basis, as well as non-compliance issues to the project manager.

Ensured that communication regarding changes in plan have reached engineers, contractors, and sub- contractors.
