Recruited by Board Chairman/lead investor to supplement management team after launch of a disruptive product that was not selling, with take-up below 10% of plan. Analyzed $700B market, identifying critical needs and incentives of customers, users, and payers. Created and implemented new go-to-market strategy beginning with new channel partnerships. This new strategy that gained traction quickly; sales in first Quarter exceeded prior year’s sales by 2X.
Retrained sales teams to both sell products and recruit surrogate sales representatives. This hybrid approach resulted in partners performing 50% of Sales and Marketing activities, with better efficiency. Field sales people shifted to managing, training and supporting surrogates rather than performing lower yield direct sales.
Increased company market by identified Pharmaceutical prescription refills as new product, with two regional pharmacies competing for the business. This increases short and medium term revenue by 50%, with negligible corresponding expenses.
Within three months, achieved a backlog adequate to meet 45% of remaining annual goals, and had the company on track to meet 100% of annual plan, increasing sales from 5-6 to 300 new members per month.

Responsible for Intellectual Property, resulting in 1 Issued (Fast Track) patent, 4 more issued patents expected Q2 2019, with 10-13 additional patents following. Obtained Fast Track review by USPTO for primary core patent, receiving an issued Patent 8 months later. This combination of one, central issued patent, with 19 logically following it, created credibility to raise additional funding without the cost of prosecuting all 20 or the delays inherent without Fast Track.
Built DNA sequencing group. Reduced turnaround time from 45 days to 4 days, with genome informatics capability in two months (tools, infrastructure, training, protocols, and validation).

Managed merger integration of AirLiance Materials, which was formed from the aircraft maintenance functions of the Star Alliance airlines. Co-developed, with client management, the operating model for jet engine parts inspection, repair and resupply, using global skill centers of legacy airlines.
Managed divestment and merger integration of Midwest networking company. This company was purchased by two external parties, with each taking vaguely defined components. Led team that defined and separated the high-tech components and integrated the operations and inventory systems into acquiring telecom utility. Managed post-merger project to rationalize resources, hitting EPS targets that subsequently empowered acquisition of same utility by another.
Acting Manager of Business Development for energy trading company spun from Kansas-based electric Utility. Liaison with generating unit of utility. Co-managed medium term dispatch of Utility power plants for trading company clients. Negotiated one and two year supply contracts with neighboring utilities.

Responsible for building, updating and maintaining complex models of the US energy economy. Created detailed forecasts of electrical energy and electric fuels demand and prices. Our 2-person team successfully competed with much larger government and industry teams of 5 to 10, while routinely producing more accurate and less volatile forecasts.

Nuclear Power: Designed nuclear safety subsystems and components for commercial nuclear power plants. Systems included emergency cooling systems, spent fuel storage systems, reactor-side steam and radiation shielding. Performed containment inspections during reactor operation.
Fossil Fuel Power: Designed upgraded pollution control systems for refinery-based cogeneration facilities. Was lead engineer on small (25 MW) refinery cogeneration project: Determined site and footprint, specified turbine and vendor, specified exhaust treatment equipment and vendor, obtaining competitive quotes.
