Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Trivandrum, Kerala University, India (Passed out in June/2004) EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

I am having a total of ‘THIRTEEN YEARS EXPERIENCE’ in the construction field. Eleven & half years abroad work experience and one &half years’ work experience in India.

Experience in acquiring Authority approvals from DEWA/DCD for the shop drawings, & installations.

Study of subcontract agreement, Conditions of Contract etc. On receiving final approved tender documents from Estimation Section, after opening job card check tender drawings with construction drawings issued by the Main contractor as well as the B.O.Q. And specifications for any discrepancy in quantity, specifications, etc., Any discrepancy should be brought immediately to the notice of the departmental head and to the Project Manager.

Follow up for monthly payments, final certificate & subsequent payments from Main Contractor / Consultant.

Overall responsibility of the project from commencement to the handing over and up to end of DLP.

Preparing the Variations and getting approvals from consultants/clients.

Carry out the work at site as per approved shop drawing and as per specifications to the quality required, for approval by the Main Contractor/Consultant.

Site Progress activities:

Monitor progress of work as per program and inform in writing to the Main Contractor for any delay in Civil works, which is affecting MEP Progress.

Informing Main Contractor of any variation work in any scope of original MEP Contract through confirmation of verbal instruction. Any variation work should be done only after written approval as a variation instruction from the Main contractor/consultant and after consulting your Project Manager.

Prepare monthly measurement of work at site through measurement annexure. Get it approved and send it to Project Planning Manager in HO for monthly billing before the end of every month.

Prepare check list as per our ISO 9001:2000 procedures, get it endorsed by Main Contractor/Consultant and send it to Project Planning Manager for filling in

HO.

Check quality of work at site on a daily basis and report any defective work/incomplete work to your Project Coordinator and also for Foreman for further action.

Make sure that Tool Box Talks are conducted for our workers through Foreman/Site Safety Supervisor/Safety Officer at least thrice a week.

Prepare testing & commissioning check list as per standard formats and make sure all defects are attended to immediately and check list are signed by all concerned.

Prepare As built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals for our respective work at site and submit to Project Coordinator for onward submission to Main Contractor/consultant.
