o This study consisted of a retrospective chart review of over 4,000 patients with a positive HPV high risk test result from Pap test specimens. A correlation was found with the duration of infection and significance of dysplasia to the value of the ratio obtained from the RNA probing method.

• Berry-Lowe Laboratory, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs 2005-2006 o Team leader

o This grant was in the amount of 10,000 dollars. I wrote it for the funding of a collaborative effort by the Kansas City Track Club, the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB), and Score One for Health to help fight childhood obesity. Saucony’s goal was to fight obesity by promoting running activities for children. The program this grant funded was aimed at supporting a fun-run, medical student mentoring, and running supplies such as shoes for elementary school children in the urban core Kansas City School districts. The grant also funded a nutritionist to assist the 5

KCUMB medical student volunteers with nutrition education for the elementary school students. With this grant, we encouraged interest in healthy living lifestyles and active physical activity. PUBLICATIONS
