Duties / Responsibilities:

a)Splice FTTH Of Globe Telecom and PLDT project

b)Terminate, splice, and install a variety of fiber optic connectors and enclosures including both loose tube fiber and ribbon fiber.

c)Proficient in using fiber tools and fiber optic test equipment including fusion splicer, power meter and OTDR Outside Plant Maintenance (OSP related works)

d)Ability to troubleshoot damaged fiber, effectively and efficiently.

a)Performs 1st level onsite troubleshooting of trouble tickets including Voice and DATA(DSL) for outages and quality

b)Performs preventive maintenance of Telecom equipment that includes replacement of defective Voice card, DATA card,Hi-gain card, IPNI card, EISMB, SAM_16 Splitter, Relay coil and Rectifier module for ECI cabinet and Reset of IPMD card And CSRB – Voice/DATA card for HUAWEI

c)Performs testing, equipment calibration and troubleshooting in coordination with Network Operation Center to normalize service interruption.

d)Performs equipment fault isolation and correction during Network Outages.

e)Implements technical solutions to problems as recommended by Field Operations Engineers.

f)Performs 1st level escalation of outages and quality issues including Voice interruption and Intermittent DATA connection.
