Almost 20 years of work experience attained within Software, Telecommunication, Banking, IT, Consumer Products and Sales. Almost ten years of experience in Technical Writing mainly with software and telecommunication documentation. Continuously learning and improving his skills. EXPERIENCE

Technical Writer and Product Manager, WYLog Ph., Ortigas Pasig City May 2018 to present Main responsibility is to create and develop new technical documentation for the company's main client. Work also includes daily collaboration with the client, Project Manager, and Developers through daily scrum meetings, emails and phone calls to discuss the progress of the project and other project-related concerns. I am also heavily involved in the progress of the application's software development and would regularly coordinate with the Lead Developer and QA team for updates. I sometimes take part in the testing and verification of the application's front end to help QA with their task. As a Product Manager, my main task is to assist and guide our Innovation team (R&D) during the development of a new product and improvement of our product development process such as setting a strategy and feature definition of our product.

I am also currently involved in the development of the company’s platform application that will soon serve as our main marketing tool.

Senior Information Developer, SolarWinds Asia Pte. Ltd., BGC Taguig November 2014 to August 2017 Main responsibility was to create and update product documentation such as User Manuals, Administration Guides, Installation Manuals and Knowledge Base articles for different software products. Work also included daily coordination with Subject Matter Experts, Testers and Product Developers for verification and clarification of technical content.

Acted as Team Leader for the Manila Technical Content team while regularly and directly coordinating with the team’s Senior Manager in Austin, Texas for work updates, team concerns and development. Team Lead responsibilities also included creating and sending weekly reports, coaching and training for team development and delegation of work.

Used Madcap Flare as an editing and authoring tool as well as JIRA for task management and fogbugz for fault tracking and management.

Line Manager, Nokia Manila Technology Center (formerly NetworkLabs), Quezon City December 2013 to November 2014

Main responsibility was to manage and supervise the Manila Customer Documentation team composed of Documentation Engineers assigned to various Nokia projects. Work also included training of documentation engineers to help improve their efficiency, providing regular evaluation and feedback through scheduled one- to-one sessions. As part of Line Management work, I regularly coordinated with other CuDo LMs in Poland, Germany, China and India to discuss improvement and maintain document quality. I also regularly coordinated with other Line Managers, HR Manager and Site Manager in Manila for site improvements, employee engagement projects, company events, among other.

Main responsibility was to author or revise descriptive and procedural documents for Nokia’s intended users, researched content and audience information, user specifications, existing information, and interviews with SMEs to develop customer documentation. Work also includes ensuring the quality in product documentation, that is, delivering documents that met Nokia’s documentation standards of style, writing quality, and format for online help, electronic documents, and technical manuals. I also regularly coordinated with Subject Matter Experts, Testers and Product Developers for verification and clarification of technical content. As a Technical Illustrator, I created or updated technical illustrations for both software and hardware documentation for documents across different Nokia projects. I also coordinated with other Technical Writers and Project Managers for documentation updates, fault coordination and other project-related tasks. Used editing and repository tools such as Adobe Framemaker, Madcap Flare, xDoc, and Oxygen. Used Corel Designer as an illustration tool.

Engineer Support, Capgemini Consulting Worldwide (formerly Strategic Systems Solutions), Hangzhou, China August 2005 to December 2009

Main responsibility was to be the primary and secondary support and contact for Deutsche Bank’s outsourcing service through client-facing experience for different locations such as Asia, Europe, and the US to support their reporting and application needs. Support included phone calls, emails, chat and conference calls for various issues. Work also included trade matching, and production support for different teams. Took ownership of technical issues and worked with other teams to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.

Used Lotus Notes for daily emails with clients and task management and allocation and JIRA for task management and work tracking.

Visual Merchandise Designer, Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., Quezon City January 2004 to June 2004 Main responsibility was to create and design visual and marketing collaterals for all Robinsons Supermarket branches in the Philippines. Worked closely with other Designers, Project Managers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure the quality of the collaterals. Used Corel Draw as an illustration tool.

Product Designer, Suprymm International Phils, Ortigas, Pasig City January 2000 to December 2003 Main responsibility was to create product designs for different companies and clients as part of their product marketing and campaign. Worked closely with other Designers, Product Managers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure the quality of the designs.
