Support the needs to the department via the Warehouse Management Software.

Monitor daily workload and adjust manpower as required.

Ensure proper training is provided to all new employees.

Ensure continued training / cross training is provided to all employees.

Ensure all department equipment and tools are in good working condition.

Maintain appropriate department files; keep a neat and organized shipping work area.

Monitor and enforce all Safety policy and practices.

Participate and ensure all end of day activities are complete.

Responsible for maintaining the standards On Time Performance.

Find and identifying inventory discrepancies as they occur.

Maintain a full level of staffing, Hold weekly team meetings.

Communicate information presented in weekly team meetings as well as other concerns or issues to the department manager.

Ensure regular inspection and packaging of products.

Take inventory and cycle count according to stock policy.

Ensure compliance with work time regulations.

Create qualifications and target agreements for his/her employees upon agreement with the responsible Manager.

Coordinate good communication with Customer Service on orders and provide revisions on schedule changes.

Escalates technological applications requirements and constraints to the Projects manager

Reviews reports and audits facilities regularly to ensure safety, health, security and sanitation guidelines are met as per IMS Manual.

Keeping track of stock using computer systems.

Ensures Warehousing Management Directives are compiled within reasonable time frames.

Reviews asset management and resource utilization and effects measures in coordination with the Shift Supervisors for cost effectiveness.

Reviews regular reports provided by line staff, verifies data randomly, compiles as per summary requirement of line manager, in required time.

Knowledge with ERP and Warehousing Systems.
