Sr Unix Administrator (Distributed Platform Service Team Linux)
Assigned to an Agile team to help with projects attended meetings to keep group informed of progress/status. Also was loaned to other Agile teams to help with system trouble shooting build issues on Linux RHEL Servers. Using Service Now for tickets to log work also CA tools.
Prepared system builds using Foreman. Defined image version, subnets, and ran Chef Ruby scripts to complete the customizing for the environment (test, dev, stage, prod).
Used Terraform to build containers using Visual Studio to create Ruby scripts.
Satellite was used to patch some Linux RHEL physical servers and VM’s when required.
Used VMware / vSphere to build Linux RHEL 6.x / 7.x RHEL (standalone VM’s).
Incident tickets were used to update CPU’s, memory and additional parameters.
Created PoweShell scripts to extract system OS versions, disks, and network information.
Created scripts to create NIC Bonding for physical systems.
Created buttons within SecureCRT tool to perform small tasks that needed to be repeated or for troubleshooting incidents.
Assisted users in resolving configuration problems while adhering to the company’s standards and policies.
Helped with other issues to improve the build process within our group.

Reviewing Server and Desktop system applications to see if patching, upgrades or removal is required by Wells Fargo standards, then we create game plans to recommend the site for downloads from 3rd party vendor and identify if the application has an upgrade path or removal by Wells Fargo Standards that were set.
Requesting new version to be placed into WF Library.
Currently for Windows and Linux Red Hat, AIX, and Sun Servers all supported versions that are currently deployed at WF.

Unix Enterprise Support Team / Ansible and Puppet Automation and Support
Daily work using Service Now Tickets for incidents, problems and changes.
Support work on Red Hat and Cent OS issues.
Created Wiki Documents to help the newly organized support team with new tasks they were assigned to.
oOne of the Wiki documents created was to remove Oracle system disks on VM’s and DMS storage tools, also updated other Wiki pages that were outdated.
o
Ran Ansible Jobs to perform system changes and updates.
Created plays and playbooks which gathered system information from a list of servers, including a script to add systems to a blackout list to stop systems from being monitored when downtime was required.
oThis script also identified who requested it and the reason for doing so.
With knowledge to automate procedures with documentation, the team is freed from manual repetitive tasks which helps reduce
mistakes and saves time.

Part of an Agile team for projects to build (test, dev, stage and production) Linux systems.
Helped document / test HPSA deployment in preparation for UHG’s rollout of HP Server Automation.
Also used HP Server Automation (HPSA) to install rpm’s and deploy configurations.
After implementation, used HPSA to install policies, run scripts and Satellite to patch VM’s as required.
Used VMware / Vsphere to build RHEL 5.x and RHEL 6.x Linux standalone systems VM’s .
Assigned to document the POC for Oracle 3 node RAC on VMware VM’s.
Built and tested Oracle 3 node RAC clusters.
