Dear Human Resources Coordinator,

Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. My industrial experience and education from my three years within the Biomedical Engineering Technology program at St. Clair College align seamlessly with the opportunity at hand. During my education, I was exposed to ventilators, patient monitors, anesthesia machines, ultrasound and dialysis. Within this program, the focus revolved around maintenance, repair and effectively communicating then documentation of our problem-solving process. In my second year I worked as a Research Assistant at St. Clair College developing electronic prototypes for medical training purposes. This opportunity lead to my employment as Head of Microcontrollers and Electronics at True Phantom Solutions Inc. Working alongside the Chief of Technology where I became experienced in the development conductive elastomers for ultrasound imaging and electrical compatibility, designing functional PCB designs and prototypes for medical training devices. This experience allowed me to troubleshoot design errors, create custom adjustments based on industry needs and allow me to adjust quickly to any environment. After graduation, I became employed with Tessonics Inc as an Ultrasound Probe Automation Developer. This position focuses on the development of RIWA ultrasound probes and the process of automating their manufacturing, leading various research and development teams and troubleshooting probe development. This job has prepared me to understand ultrasound probes at a component level, diagnose issues, develop improvements, create robots for FMEA tests, and 3D designs. Along with the ultrasound probes, maintenance and data collection have allowed my team and I to develop data bases, monitoring devices and the manufacturing. A large part of this job is developing relationships with industry professionals that focus on the logistics related to our manufacturing and research projects.

For more information regarding my qualifications see my attached resume. I would greatly appreciate an opportunity to discuss this position in more detail and thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely,

Andres Parra

RE: Andres Parra

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this reference at the request of Andres Parra, who is applying for a position within your organization. I have known Andres Parra for number of years in my capacity as a teacher at St Clair College. Andres Parra took Biomechanics and Biomaterials from me and earned superior grades in those classes. Based on Andres Parra’s grades, attendance, and class participation, I’d rate his academic performance in my class as exceptional.

Andres Parra has a number of strengths to offer an employer. He is always interested in helping others. For example, during our biomaterials lab Andres noticed some of the college equipment was in need of repair. As such he quickly reported it as a safety hazard to me and began to research and repair the equipment on the spot. Andres Parra has a large skill set that extends from general Biomedical Technology repair to the field of design. In my personal opinion Andres has always shown to be highly intelligent, highly motivated and extremely detail oriented.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Andres Parra. If his performance in my class is any indication of how he’d perform in the available position, Andres Parra will be an extremely positive addition to your organization. If you need any additional information, feel free to contact me at telephone or by email at adbqlt@r.postjobfree.com anytime. Sincerely,

James Linton, MiM, PmP, Cmbb
