Writing of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to various codes, Procedure Qualification Records and Welder Performance Qualification Record.

Certified GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW

Experienced in welding of various metals including exotic alloys.

Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy and engineering requirements

Working knowledge of nondestructive examination (NDE)

Knowledge or Turnover documentation requirements, approval of quality procedures and ITP’s.

Ability to read ISO’s, Ortho’s, P&ID’s and shop drawings

Verify and review report from vendors (PWHT, Drift, Squareness, Ovality, etc..)

Use of Microsoft Office Suite and computers to compile and submit data of acceptance or rejection of weld quality

Knowledge of Bluebeam and Bim 360 software

Ability to effectively communicate with sub-contractors, clients, upper management and co-workers
