Electrical power consumption and distribution in Mysore Palace.

In this project,we studied the following:

1.Line diagram of electrical network of the palace.

2.The different types of transformers installed.

3.The energy profile of the palace.

4.Feasibility study of using LED lamps over incandescent lamps.

A study of control on home appliances using light dependent resistors.

Through this project,we demonstrated the usage of light,in the form of sunlight to make or break electrical circuits,so as to minimize the wastage of electricity at the domestic level.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT:

Electrical Energy Auditing in MYPOL

In this project,we studied the following:

1.Making a single line diagram of an industry indicating the electrical power distribution of industry,starting from the electricity boards(CESC,in the case of MYPOL) to the individual equipments installed in the plants.

2.Identifying the energy saving potential of various processes in an industry.

3.Calculating the cost of implementation of various proposals in terms of money and time.
