• Provide bilingual assessment, consulta on and treatment, and assist with discharge planning for infants/children with a variety of acquired and trauma c neurologic impairments, feeding disorders and tracheostomies.
• Lead in the implementa on of the Passy Muir Speaking Valve and in the educa on and ongoing support to pa ents using the valve.

Administra on/Quality Management
• Developed a tracheostomy clinical protocol for the First Words Program with specifica ons to address the communica on needs of children with tracheostomies who are nonverbal and the educa on of their caregivers with respect to training nonverbal communica on skills.
• Created the speech pathology electronic documenta on tool for the Saliva Management Clinic and Complex Airway Clinic in EPIC and for e-clin doc for inpa ents in the Sunrise Program.
• Par cipated in quarterly audits of inpa ent documenta on and presented results of audit at yearly Professional Prac ce Leaders mee ng.
• Par cipated in the development and wri ng of the Clinical Prac ce Guideline for Feeding and Swallowing.

• Worked with the training team and applica on build team to determine training needs, curriculum and training plan for over 2000 staff, students and residents at CHEO working across all Inpa ent Units, MDU and the ED.
• Responsible for the communica on of training policies and procedures across CHEO and for the overall coordina on of training ac vi es and trainers.
• Responsible for determining required training resources, direc ng training team staffing and securing facili es and equipment for classroom training.
• Determined curriculum delivery methods, oversaw the crea on and maintenance of a realis c training environment.
• Created a course catalogue and training schedule, and ensured that all users were trained before gaining access to the produc on environment.
