Professional summary

I consult on pre-opening wellness projects and work as a visiting practitioner delivering various programs and personal guest consultations for national/international retreats and resorts. I have experience and knowledge of international recipe design and delivery, including Asian, Indian, Turkish, Portuguese (Mediterranean) and Thai and have worked with wellness chefs.

I use the principles of functional/integrative practice and the pillars of health with clients and my tailored plans are supported by scientific and medical research. I focus on balanced wellbeing using nutrition enhanced with good quality/clean supplements, natural beauty/care products and emotional care. I have a special interest in natural cancer and oncology support and protocols for breast and prostate cancers and have a deep interest in global health issues and policies.

Inspired by studies on the power of the body to repair itself and making/using my own natural beauty products for personal and family use, I set up a natural/holistic spa centre in London in 2009, turning over £750k in 5 years, resulting in a profitable sale in Aug 2014. I then changed career and now combine my experience in Nutritional therapy with that of hospitality and marketing.

I am driven to expand my knowledge to help others achieve balanced health/life on their journey to wellness. I want to make a difference starting with those around me and on a wider policy level through mind-set change from “managing” conditions medically/allopathically, towards finding root causes of dis-ease. Prevention in human health with integrative practices between natural and allopathic could be the key to improving health globally.

I am genuine, fluid, agile, connected and spirited with transferable skills and solid business acumen and am able to grasp wider perspectives and conduct myself with integrity. I continue to practice with private clients for diabetes, high blood pressure, weight management, ageing well, endocrine system imbalances, menopause, middle aged dysfunctions and autoimmune conditions using the TH1/TH2 pathways.

I have a special interest in and have worked with natural support and re-balance in breast/prostate cancer using nutrition, supplementation and principles of German New Medicine. I also follow the principles of the pillars or health in my own practice.

I sat as Chair of the Women’s Activities for The Ismaili Women’s Portfolio from 2013 to 2019 and worked with organisations such as Women Empowered and Barclays to help other women grow in confidence/gain transferable skills improve their lives; Our team delivered 3 International Women’s Day events and over 15 health and wellbeing roadshows focussing on breast cancer and mental health. I also deliver corporate and community nutritional presentations on these and other health related issues

Representing and saving 26 SME businesses from closure due to property development proposals, using the Residents Association, and local councillors, Nick Hurd, MP to 8,000 strong petition to 10 Downing Street halting the destruction of a thriving local business community.

Working with Hillingdon Training offering a positive workplace through direct mentoring and on-the-job training, I helped 4 apprentices to achieve their NVQ2/3 qualifications. I continue to mentor when possible.
