Along with the diverse courses I have taken in the engineering field, my experience of playing college football has also provided me with the skill set, discipline, and determination that produces extreme composure without losing any competitive nature, all while working under pressure. Ideals of teamwork and collaboration have been embedded throughout my four years as a Jaguar for Southern University’s football team. My coach’s belief in my leadership abilities has proven to work in any setting I have encountered thus far. Having served as a Co-Captain and Captain of the football team, I possess the ability to adjust to different personalities, varying intellectual levels, while maintaining a respectful and productive rapport with my teammates as we worked together to obtain a common goal.
