EXPERIENCE

Clubhouse Manager, York Golf Club February 1996 - October 2019 Columbus, OH

Accomplishments:

• Increased Food & Beverage revenue from $60,000 to $400,000

• Brought in more than 2,000 new members

• More than doubled the Club’s overall revenue

• Tremendously increased revenue from weddings and other special events and dramatically increased repeat business

Responsibilities:

• Supervised 50 employees to run day-to-day clubhouse operations from the Grill Room to outings and other special events

• Responsible for bringing in new members and welcoming them to the club, including giving tours and being available for questions

• Created marketing initiatives and promotions to generate excitement for prospective members

• Worked with Club Pro and Superintendent to prepare budget and presented to the Finance Committee and Board

• Served as York’s point-person for the ODOT project from 2013-2015 on Route 23/270, which included communication with the lobbyist and Governor Kasich; Negotiated terms so the Club could stay at its current location and be paid accordingly for loss of land and redesigning the course

• Oversaw all aspects of golf outings, wedding receptions, and other events

• Responsible for every document that came out of the business office, including member statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

• Provided a personalized membership experience by being present at Club functions and making myself available for communication; I always initiated communication with members anytime an issue arose
