PRODUCTION OPERATOR

- Set up & operated injection moulding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials

- Installed dies on machine according to work order specifications using clamps, bolts, & handtools

- Set machine controls, regulating moulding temperature, volume of plastics, moulding pressure & time according to knowledge of plastics moulding procedures

- Dumped pre mixed plastic powders or pellets into hopper and start machine

- Trimmed excess material from part using knife

- May mix thermoplastic materials coloring pigments in mixing machine according to formula

- May grind scrap plastic into powder for reuse
