DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MAINTENANCE SITES:

Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations.

Weekly maintenance to ensure all plates & doors are closed, there is no burning smell in electrical rooms, to ensure indication devices working properly and to check for any abnormal temperature on panels.

Monthly Maintenance schedule to check ON/OFF function of breakers, Busbar joints visual inspection and to check anti condensation heater, indicating lamps and selector switches in panels.

Annual maintenance to check for loose connections, to check main contacts of ACB and MCCB’s, to check tightness of busbar joints, to clean complete panel and to perform megger test.

Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible

Ensure that Equipment is in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities

Installation of fresh electrical components and fittings

Recommend replacement for old or faulty electrical components or fittings to the management

Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s electrical equipment

Help the organization to reduce energy costs.

Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings

Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented

Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management

Purchase electrical fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility.

Provide 24 hours a day maintenance services or assign technical staff to do so.

Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CONSTRUCTION SITES:

Electrical Installation of Residential & commercial Buildings as per Kahramaa Standards.

Assisting in getting the approvals for Inspection on Electrical Conduiting & Wiring work with respect to electrical load. And preparation of RFI’s.

Review and ensure the design calculations, Cable routing and DB schedules as per standards.

Review of shop drawings and workout drawing coordination with other mechanical, structural and architectural Engineers.

Estimation of BOQ and extracting the exact quantity of materials required as per specification.

Voltage Drop Calculations, Cable Selection & DG selection.

Preparation of Contract terms and scope of works for Electrical subcontractors.

Negotiations and agreement with customer on the technical and commercial terms and conditions.

Installation/termination of MV Panel, Main DB’s, Cables.

Resubmit all load schedules for MDB’s, SMDB’s and DB’s.

Maximum demand estimation.

Kahramaa Passing for MV Panels and 3 compounds.

Project Completion and Handover with As-Built drawings and relevant documents. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
