Investigated proteomic biomarkers in Olympic and collegiate swimmers to optimize training and recovery protocols. Oversaw quality control/assurance with sample collections. Also, assisted in analyzing data collection. The study revealed that total distress scores (TDS) is highly individual based. This warrants the measurement of physiologic biomarkers in athletes to decrease the risk of overtraining due to internal and external stresses.
