Objective
Purdue aerospace engineering graduate looking to obtain a position in a pioneering company where I can contribute to company growth using my aerospace knowledge and skills. With the help of my strong analytical skills, ability to learn quickly and function as part of a team, I aim to effectively contribute to any team I am a part of.
Education
Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN August 2015 – Dec 2019
B.Sc. Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering
Skills: MATLAB, ABAQUS, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, XFLR5
Engineering Projects
AAE 451 Senior Design Project Fall 2019
Designed and built an autonomous glider to serve as a test bed for
hypersonic applications within design criteria provided by Sandia National Laboratories
Made extensive use of software such as XFLR5, ABAQUS and MATLAB to
generate and refine concepts until satisfactory results were obtained
Used Boeing Wind Tunnel to validate simulation data
Collaborated with another team tasked with building mothership for the glider
to achieve best possible outcomes
Purdue Space Program September 2017 – March 2018
Rocketry team for LOX-LCH4 rocket competition organized by
Friends of Amateur Rocketry
Made several important contributions to design and construction of mobile
methane liquefaction and fueling system for rocket.
Structural Analysis Project, Ametek India June, July 2018
Made significant contributions to design and analysis of commercial aircraft heat
exchanger components with assistance of senior engineer.
Gained exposure to common industry standards and practices.
Featured Coursework
Finite Element Methods in Aerospace Structures
Learned theory behind finite element calculations for stress, strain and deformation in structures and materials
Gained experience in use of FEA software (ABAQUS) for structural analysis, especially in a commercial application
Fatigue of Structures and Materials
Studied development and application of methods for fatigue life prediction
Studied material response to cyclic loading
Learned fundamentals of both crack initiation and propagation
Gained insight into fatigue resistant design for aerospace components.
Structures and Properties of Materials
Studied effects of material structure on various properties
Crystal structures, lattices and defects were also analyzed.
Studied microstructural growth and development of different alloys used in industry
Work Experience
Engineering Intern, Ametek India June, July 2018
Collaborated with experienced engineers in design process of various
aerospace components
Student Supervisor, Windsor Dining Court January 2016 - September 2019
