Senior level experience in progressive management of all aspects of facility operations.

Managed all aspects of UTHSC energy operations and management for 9 years.

Nine time winner of the Memphis Beautiful Business Award including the Mayors award.

Completed multiple energy capital improvement projects, with a net present value of over $1,500,000.00, with over $180,000.00 in federal incentives.

Developed and implemented UTHSC housekeeping standards, vehicle maintenance program, recycling program, grounds color program, safety training, and departmental work rules.

Worked with Memphis City Government and their entities, to design, approve, and implement, a comprehensive HSC park improvement program.

LEED GA awarded in March of 2010.

Professional Experience

Energy Manager-UTHSC

Conducted primary energy audits for buildings on campus.

Work with UT system to ensure energy efficient measures are included on building projects.

Work with engineers and designers to study the effect and feasibility of various energy conservation equipment, devices, or measures.

Designed several large energy conservation projects including solar hot water, daylight harvesting, dimmable LED’s, and low voltage controlled variable dimming.

Responsible for intelligent control additions, such as internet controlled thermostats, occupancy sensors, and smart metering.

Reviewed and evaluated proposals on performance contracting from multiple vendors.

Review construction documents for capital project improvements as to energy savings, and incentives. Recommend changes to improve potential savings.

Associate Director-UTHSC

Responsible for Grounds, Carpenters, Painters, Tuck pointers, Biomedical Instrumentation, Pest Control, Kronos Administration, and Energy Management.

Responsible for all Facility Management in the Directors absence including Housekeeping, HVAC, Electrical services, Plumbing services, Auto shop Transfer and Warehousing.

Currently helping to implement Archibus, a new computerized maintenance program.

Currently lead in charge of Kronos timekeeping implementation for facilities and contractual employees.

Key lead in the Core Management staffing audit for the housekeeping department.

Wrote specifications and negotiated pest control contract for UTHSC.

Wrote specifications and negotiated Grounds Management contract for UTHSC

Wrote grant and successfully gained funding for TDEC Propane vehicle replacement
