Profile
A postgraduate in Project Management & Operational Development with proficiency in service and delivery projects in Telecommunication industry.
My work experience of 9 years in multi-vendor Network Swap, Re-farming and Rollout projects of Huawei and Nokia (3G/LTE/5G).
Hands on Project Coordination experience in managing a variety of teams in diverse project environment.
Deadline driven and adept at creating effective communication between team members, subcontractors and management team.
Employment History
Wireless Engineer RF at U Mobile (Malaysia)
January 2018 – December 2019.
KPI Optimization post re-farming: Multi-Carrier strategy (load balancing), traffic reduction, and high PRB utilization in LTE sites.
Conduct traffic balance between L18, L26 and L21 layers post re-farming.
Perform and supervise SSV and cluster level drive tests to verify network issues and performance.
Utilize drive-testing tools like TEMS and NEMO and study coverage and quality issues to propose necessary soft/hard optimization for improvement.
Analyze cluster level pre/post performance; propose optimization to achieve preliminary and final level acceptances with customer.
Conduct customized test cases based on specific customer complaints to resolve failures in KPI.
Conduct physical and parameter level audit to ensure no inconsistencies in baseline settings post swap.
Plan and propose nominal candidate, antenna height and azimuth for the new built sites (UMTS/LTE/5G).
Chaired meetings with customer and subcontractors on weekly basis to update project progress in terms of KPI optimization and network issues.
RF Engineer – Team Lead at Telenor - Digi (Malaysia)
February 2011 – November 2017
Responsible for KPI monitoring and worst cell optimization of L900 overlay sites.
Support regional swap 3G & LTE in Ipoh, Malaysia for site and cluster level acceptance. Achieve SVT and equal/better OSS KPIs of swapped clusters for PAC/FAC.
Multi-sector site deployment: CQT/SVT verification, Post SPR update and OSS KPI equal/better acceptance.
Formulate new site OA process with CQT method, KPI monitoring and report submission SLA. Approx. 1000 sites on-air milestone achieved in 2015/16.
Maintain and update 3G-baseline parameter file for changes done in the network.
Process OSS stats & DT result for problem investigation of customer complaints.
Analyze subcontractor’s KPI and compliance of SLA for rollout and swap targets.
Support aggressive swap of 5000+ sites for SVT and cluster level acceptance.
Managed optimization and rollout teams to achieve OSS+DT KPI acceptance targets.
Worst cell optimization to reduce customer complaints caused by service interruption during regional swap window.
Regional updates on key milestones, progress and project plan related to cluster performance.
Examine subcontractor’s expertise and resource for performance assessment.
Team lead & Coordination at Myson Engineering Systems (Pakistan)
July 2006 – June 2009
Conducted line of sight (LOS) surveys using mirror and balloon test techniques to propose adequate antenna height.
Carried out drive test for new single site and cluster verification using TEMS Investigation software.
Analyzed and post process DT results to verify cause of network degradation i.e. drop calls, call setup failure and propose necessary optimization to improve KPIs.
Troubleshoot site issues like swap sector of new integrated sites during drive test activity.
Represented MES in monthly meetings with Ufone technical team to update regional progress and status.
