Out of high school I began in the work force labouring and operating heavy equipment in the construction field until an opportunity to enter and begin a longstanding oilfield career on drilling rigs with Nabors as a Floorhand in started in the spring of 1997. Since that time and as a result of my job performance and experience I have held positions of increasing responsibility on a variety of smaller conventional DC to some of the largest AC drilling rigs across Western Canada from farthest Southern Saskatchewan to the most Northern British Columbia regions including Motorhand, Derrickman and Relief Drilling.

Responsibilities have included organizing & managing crew roles to accomplish operational tasks in safe and timely manner with various different drilling techniques including conventional water and oil based drilling fluids, managed pressure & under balanced systems, experience with a wide range of directional drilling, fishing, logging, running casing, cementing and tools so have good understanding of all day to day operations required in completing wells.

In these positions I have acquired hands on training experience with multiple pieces of equipment including but not limited too:

• Continental Emsco 750hp, Mid Continent U-1220-EB 2000hp and National 750hp Drawworks.

• Canrig 4017AC 175 ton, Canrig 275 ton, Canrig 1050E 500 ton and various Tesco model Topdrive systems as well some conventional Kelly driven operations with different contractors through the years.

• Gardner Denver PZ8 750hp, Gardner Denver PZ11 pumps 1500hp and Work Force WF1300 mud pumps.

• Numerous BOP systems from 3000psi to 10,000psi.

As I am obviously looking for work background related but also at this stage with current economy, work force restructure and retirement goals still being focused upon I am being completely open to any potential diversifying career change that my past skills may compliment or that you feel with minimal required retraining on your part, that I may be a strong candidate for any opening within your team that would potentially be suited for or capable to work into over time.

I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to look over my resume and look forward to any interview time that may arise – any references required would gladly be available on request.
