New York Taxi Hot Zone and Hot Spot Analysis

Setup a Hadoop Cluster consisting of 3 nodes using AWS EC2 instances. Used Apache Spark for efficient processing of data at scale. Performed Hot Zone and Hot Spot Analysis on the New York taxi data by running range and distance queries on pickup locations of New York Taxi’s Big Data

Museum Smart Tours

Designed and developed a Java Enterprise Application using Java Servlets and Apache Jena package which enabled Federated Querying using SPARQL on RDF Data hosted on 3 different Amazon EC2 instances using Apache Jena Fuseki server. The application provided details of artwork based on user’s current location

Simulating Sensing Devices

Developed an Enterprise Application in Java to generate data from various sensing devices such as BCI, Eye Tracking, Skin Conductance and Heart rate. Developed this using Observer pattern and Java socket programming

Trained a machine learning model using Python Keras module from the data generated from various sensing devices by labelling it as happy, neutral and sad and used the model to classify emotions with an accuracy of 91%

Airline Reservation System

Developed a web application for managing Airline Reservation. Used HTML, CSS to develop the front end and Python and Django Framework to link routes from the front end to the backend. The backend was implemented using PostgreSQL database
