Areas of Experience
Waste – RCRA, LIB, Non-Hazardous, Universal, and NORM. Managed and ran programs at multiple sites and conducted numerous training classes. Prepared and maintained HWCP’s.
NPDES – Certified Operator on record for a Site Specific NPDES Permit site. This included compiling and preparing DMR’s, trouble shooting and correcting monitoring upsets, scope design of NPDES reliant systems, and working within MI Waters.
ROP – Oversaw compliance requirements for multiple ROP sites. This included semi-annual & annual compliance certification and CEDRI filings.
SPCC and PIPP – Prepared, monitored, and maintained SPCCs and PIPPs at numerous locations
Form R and Tier 2 – Experience in data collection, collation, and document preparation of both documents.
SESC/Stormwater – Prepared SESC, Stormwater, and SWPPP’s. Developed tracking systems for permits, and performed hundreds of inspections. Worked with various groups and contractors to establish compliant systems.
ASTs – Initiated and oversaw the monthly and annual STI SP001 inspections of ASTs at numerous sites. Oversaw the fostered the remedial actions identified in the inspections.
Phase 1 ESAs – Experience in the investigation and preparation of Phase 1 ESA’s and BEA’s.
ISO 14001 – Worked on the implementation of ISO 14001 at numerous locations, ran multiple CFT’s, and maintained certification at all sites.
DOT – Transportation Security, Materials of Trade, Hazardous Materials Shipping & Receiving, Shipping Papers Preparation. Managed and ran programs at multiple sites and conducted numerous training classes.
Energy Efficiency – Evaluated and contracted energy saving activities at numerous locations. This resulted in the savings of millions of dollars and millions of kilowatts over a period of 5-years.
Project Management – Managed multiple projects to include design scope and construction of a 316(b) compliant intake structure, a green roof on a service center, a major outfall redesign for NPDES compliance, and dozens of individual energy efficiency projects.
Problem Solving – Involved in multiple Continuous Improvement projects.
