Description of project: The solar system is made is up of the sun and all the objects that revolve around it, the eight know planets together with their moons comets, asteroids and other celestial bodies

Name of the major project: Speed Control of AC Motor using Triac

Implementation: This is the basic principle by which RMS Voltage control is accomplished. Firing needs a small pulse at gate that can be give through microcontroller also.

The firing angle of a thyristor like TRIAC - that gives supply to motor, is delayed to decrease the motor speed or it is fired earlier to increase motor speed. As firing angle is changed, the part of AC waveform applied to motor is chopped more or less
