Position desired: full-time telepsychiatrist
At present I am a telepsychiatrist for Burrell Behavioral Health based in Springfield, Missouri and have held this position since October, 2018. My duties include psychiatric evaluations and medication management of patients in out-patient settings, ages 12-90. Prior to this work, I was the head psychiatrist for the VA clinic in Tyler, Texas, where I did one year of in-person practice and two years of telepsychiatry work with veterans. I previously retired from the position of clinical director at a large Texas state psychiatric hospital. I have been trained on 5 different EMR systems.
