The goal of this project is to load the Key Bank data into SFD (Shared Data Foundation) which is based on the industry standard model BDW (Banking Data Warehouse Model). The architecture of SFD Business View project has elected to use a target based approach. All source files are moved to a common format based on subject area then move the data to the target SFD.

Data from the sources are landed into a common structure that is somewhat denormalized but still looks similar to the end target of SFD. From this common structure, only one ETL Code logic is used to move the data to the final SFD. When a new source is introduced, only the source to common structure is created. The previous ETL code for posting to the SFD is reused.
