Infor ION is an interoperability and business process management platform designed to integrate applications, people, and processes to run your business. Infor ION enables Infor and customer activities to configure a routed infrastructure, setup workflows, design and activate business event monitors and manage the tasks and alerts through Infor Ming.leTM.

Infor ION has these components: ION Desk, ION Connect, Infor ION Event Management, ION Workflow, ION Pulse. The Infor ION suite is a set of services built by Infor that simplifies connectivity and data sharing across all applications.

ION sends data to various applications in which some of important are Infor Ming.le, LN, IDM, ION API’s etc. Ming.le is an application framework that provides a common user interface for integrated Infor ERP applications. Infor Ming.le provides a centralized platform for employee collaboration where information is shared, and conversations are organized across Infor Ming.le. Infor LN is ERP application owned by Infor. ION transfers data in the form of BOD’s (Business Object Document) which consists of XML tags. ION also handles some Business connectors such as SAP and Oracle EBS. ION has both Cloud Edition (CE) and On Premise (OP) Edition.

Involved in preparing and executing Test Cases.

Conducting sanity testing, regression testing, integration testing and functional testing on application.

Involved in Installation testing & Upgrade testing.

Involved in daily Scrum calls with onshore team.

Logging issues into the bug tracker (JIRA Tool).

Involved in Preparing Post Bug Matrices report.

Attended Sprint Planning, Retrospective, scrum meetings and specification & test plan reviews
