●Designed a 4-1/16” gate valve that used AISI 4130 for the body and Inconel 718 for all internal parts to withstand temperatures exceeding 400F.
●Performed the stress, strain and thermal analysis by hand calculations and reviewed in software due to high pressure and temperature.

●Engineered the geometry of a beam for lowering material from W14x159 to W14x90 to save cost.
