Acted as owners’ engineer, ensured technical accuracy in all phases of refinery expansion project. Supervised all the electrical engineers (under my supervision) to comply with company procedures, specifications & standards and good engineering practices. Supervised the day to day engineering interfaces.

For modification works inside running refinery, updated area classification drawings, prepared SLD, specifications & purchase requisitions for HV/LV switchgear, transformers, cables, UPS, lighting fixture/junction boxes etc. in compliance with area classification. Prepared layouts, installation drawings & conducted constructability reviews and performed field verifications.

Created cost estimates and schedules. Authored scope of work and specifications. Performed/reviewed power system studies. Participated in design & HAZOP reviews.
