Millwright
oSawmill upgrading, structural fabrication in shop, new project installation and upgrading in mines and various maintenance shutdowns throughout BC.
oRan ZoomBoom to transport material, piping, and job boxes around site as well as mobilizing material into the building through wall openings.
oPreventative maintenance on all equipment and complete rebuilds on various systems.
oUnloading and receiving new orders such as pumps, motors, conveyors and steel.
oKeeping inventory of new motors, conveyors, belting and hardware coming onto site. Layout and installation of conveyors, silos, chutes, and piping. Assisting in fabricating and welding structural supports throughout process building.
oWorked with multiple trades on a special project that include the installation of two self supported fibreglass domes that would sit on top of the Hot Clarifies and Mud Tank at the Legacy Mine.
Scaffolding
oPulp mill shutdown. Unloaded/loaded scaffolding from transport tucks. Set up Laydown yard and moved scaffold gear around site when needed.
oDaily toolbox meetings with other contractors on site as well as being involved with creating and implementing new safety procedures within the company
oErecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolds throughout the project as well as coordination between multiple trades.
