Types of Vehicles and Heavy Equipment

Heavy Equipment: Seismic vibrator trucks. (These trucks provide acoustic energy for seismic exploration and weigh approximately 100,000 pounds.)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Exceptional ability to perform all physical demands of driving, which include sitting for prolonged periods of time, using extremity motion such as reaching gripping/ push/pull of steering wheel/ twisting and turning of neck/ sensory and perceptual demands and good concentration.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Driver: First Canada (July 2013 to Oct. 2016)

Was responsible for the safe and efficient transport of oil and gas employees to and from Fort McMurray, AB.

Other duties included:

Transporting passengers safely according to routes and time schedules.

Operating vehicle in a safe manner in high density traffic and all weather conditions.

Providing information and assisting passengers.

Filling out reports as required related to any incidences that occurred during the shift.

Driver/ Swamper: City of Edmonton (June 2013 to July 2013)

Was responsible for the safe and efficient operation of front-loader garbage truck to load residential refuse/recycling into vehicle and then transport to waste collection centre.

Other duties included:

Perform pre-trip inspections and follow regular scheduled maintenance on vehicle.

Review map for assigned area to ensure hot spots are handled appropriately.

Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and work procedures.
